PA5051®, Imagilin® Technology's patented plant-based, exhibits stability at stomach acids, at high temperatures up to 185ºF, and at oxygen exposure. The stability at stomach acids indicates that PA5051®  is able to reach small intestines and large intestines live and to have health benefits on hosts; the stability at high temperature and at oxygen exposture high temperature and at which is well above the temperature required for pasteurization and food processing after extrusion. The non-GMO, non-spore forming PA5051®, is able to be removed from the manufacturing facility's equipment through standard sterilization processes. This sets it apart from most other probiotic bacteria, and opens the way to a variety of new applications in the human and pet food industry.
